Finished in classic black with a brown/light-burgundy interior, this coupe retains its original Business Coupe identity with no rear seat and a large package storage deck behind the front seating area. Many of these cars have been turned into full street rods, but this example maintains its authentic pre-war appearance and character.

Power comes from a desirable 1960 Chevrolet 235ci inline-six with hydraulic lifters. The engine features vintage performance upgrades including an Offenhauser intake, dual Bayword single-barrel carburetors, and Wayne finned valve and side covers. The engine is finished in traditional Chevrolet orange and additional Rochester carburetors are included with the car.

The interior has a charming period look highlighted by a wood-grain dash and a factory steering wheel equipped with a rare integrated spinner wheel knob. The car also features vacuum-assist shifting, adding to its vintage driving experience. Comfort is enhanced with a Vintage Air heat and air-conditioning system. Originally a California car, this Nova retains its classic Chevy appeal while incorporating the right performance upgrades for street and show enjoyment. The exterior presents in bright red with airbrushed body side moldings and chrome bumpers and trim. The stance immediately sets the tone, thanks to a tubbed rear, narrowed Currie 9-inch rear, and Weld Racing ProStar wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires.

Despite its competition-inspired stance and equipment, this Nova is very street-friendly. It’s a mild-mannered, easy-driving street car that just happens to look like a Pro Street racer. It allows for proper shakedown time. This Mustang is ready for it’s next owner to drive and enjoy. Under the hood, a 5.0 V-8 has been stroked to a 347. The engine has a Edelbrock Pro Flow 3 fuel system, aluminum heads, MSD ignition, billet distributor, and Patriot headers. This very clean Impala boasts a strong running 350 cubic inch V-8 under the hood, paired to a 3 speed Hydramatic automatic transmission. To keep the engine flowing and breathing, a Flowmaster muffler was added, and of course who doesn’t love the nice growl of a Flowmaster. The Impala was treated to a beautiful repaint in 2023. Once the body work was finished, the Impala was sprayed in a stunning blue paint. The color is essentially the same color the car rolled off the assembly line some 50 years ago. The paint shows magnificently, and really helps this Impala look the part. Tinted windows nicely offset the beautiful new blue paint. Truly one of those, you can’t build it for what you can buy it for cars. This iconic Mopar was treated to her body modifications first. This included at the time headlights, tail lights, and door mirrors to be grafted into the 1970 Challenger body from a modern Challenger. The door handles have been shaved, and electric door poppers open the doors via a programmed key fob. The car was showcased at SEMA for it’s body modifications. After the car returned home from the show, the owner enjoyed and drove the car with the body modifications complete. He then quickly realized, when a car looks this good, it needs to have the power to back up those looks! The car was sent to esteemed Cleveland Power & Performance in Ohio for its fabrication and mechanical upgrades. The original driveline at the time was removed, and the interior of the car was stripped down to a bone.

The entire Challenger was professionally wired. All four door glasses were treated to a power window conversion, and the gaps were then adjusted for the fit you see now on the Challenger. The tunnel was professionally modified to fit the modern Hemi Nag-1 5 speed auto transmission. The seat tracks of the modern Challenger were modified, and the floor sunk to allow more headroom for the modern Challenger seats. The interior floor then had sound deadener added before the carpet was installed. The Challenger was prepped, and professionally painted with a rubberized undercoating to help protect against heat, help reduce road noise, and keep the underside protected against rock chips. Under the hood, a modern 6.4 SRT-8 Hemi was installed. The driveline has a documented 13,000 miles on the engine and transmission. New aftermarket transmission cooler and a new aftermarket power steering cooler was added as well. New aluminum radiator to keep the engine cool, and vintage air inside the cabin to keep the occupants cool. TTI headers were professionally modified and TIG welded for proper clearance. A custom stainless 304 exhaust was fabricated with Kooks mufflers handling the sound. A new carbon fiber driveshaft transfers the power to the rear axle. Stainless steel fuel tank, with new stainless steel fuel and new brake lines were custom bent and routed on the underside. Wilwood brakes are neatly tucked behind 2 piece aluminum Forgiato 22” rims. Adjustable Ridetech coil overs handle stance and performance at each corner. Inside the Challenger, a custom ordered and made Dakota Digital gauge monitors speed and RPM’s.. The gauge also can be color adjusted by the operator. Kenwood head unit, JL speakers throughout, highlighted by 4 JL subwoofers in the parcel shelf, powered by 3 JL amps in the trunk. Dyno tuned, and over 1,900 test/enjoyment miles since the mechanical build was completed. This totally one of a kind Challenger is ready for it’s next home.

Remember any reputable shop is booked out over a year plus. When you add the cost of body work, paint materials, alllllllllllllllllll of the aftermarket parts, the 6.4 HEMI driveline, and the labor to properly install allllllllllllll of those aftermarket parts, do not hesitate on this black beauty.
