MaxMotive is pleased to present this beautifully turned out 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Deluxe Pickup. A product of a 4-year body-off restoration completed in 2005, the truck excels in the details as well as the big stuff. Starting with a rust free Arizona truck, the body was smoothed and a tilt hood installed. The beautiful paint is Montero Red base with five coats of clear all color sanded smooth. All the chrome and glass (including the big back window) was replaced and the bed is completely new with an oak floor and hold down tracks topped with a fiberglass cover. There’s even carpeting under the bed cover! Under that tilt hood is a .030 over balanced and blueprinted 396 by Bill Kell Racing Engines in Chester WV. A 1981 Chevy half ton front suspension with a 4-inch drop and staggered Goodyear Comfortdrive Tires gives the truck its attitude. In the back is a 4-link suspension with 1988 IROC disc brakes. An inviting interior features custom ivory leather power seats, Vintage Air, power windows, Pioneer stereo, and a full array of Autometer analog gauges. And it drives great!
