1956 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

Amos Minter and his crew completed work on this fetching automobile in 2015 and it has seen fewer than 3700 miles since. The car comes with both hard and soft tops. The original removable black porthole roof is a work of art by itself. The soft top is the original late style with a straight zipper. The original new concours-correct Fiesta Red and White interior was installed at Minter’s. Power flows smoothly from the famous T-bird 312 cubic inch V8. Sporting the Engine Dress Up option, the engine compartment is outstanding. The finned aluminum Thunderbird valve covers are among the most beautiful available anywhere, and the Minters have worked their magic with all the correct factory markings in addition to all the other fine details. Added driving enjoyment is afforded with an updated air conditioning system for comfort and cooling system for reliability. Major components that have been serviced or rebuilt include the transmission, power steering, and the signal-seeking Town & Country radio. Wide whites and chrome Thunderbird wire wheels (including a spare) fittingly finish this fabulous ‘Bird. This “baby” was delivered new in Salt Lake City Utah, then made its way to Dallas, Texas, – both dry climates. The body is superb as the gleaming Raven Black finish attests. Minter restorations are known to be a cut above.
