MaxMotive gladly presents this rare 1963 Studebaker Avanti. This uniquely styled, fiberglass bodied personal luxury coupe is powered by its original 289 cubic inch Hawk V8 engine. The engine bay is quite impressive with finned aluminum Studebaker valve covers and matching air cleaner. It has an aluminum valley pan as well. An MSD ignition system and a Quick Fuel carburetor have been added to boost reliability and performance. A 3-speed automatic transmission with floor shifter makes the car easy to drive and provides smooth, solid performance. The impressive dash has a full array of original gauges. (Tachometer not currently functioning.) Superior alloy wheels are mounted on radial tires for a sporty appearance and good handling. This historic automobile has been well cared for and comes with a Studebaker shop manual so that you can continue the tradition.
