This amazing 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS, an original rust free SS 2-dr Coupe from Arizona, was treated to a comprehensive frame-off rotisserie restoration, and is now available at the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. The same owner cared for the car for the last 44 years and drove it only about 50 miles since the restoration was completed in January of 2017. The results are simply stunning. Every fastener, every seal, and every gasket has been addressed. A complete drivetrain rebuild was performed on the 327ci/250hp V8 engine, the Powerglide automatic transmission, and the 3.08 rear axle. All new suspension components were installed along with new exhaust, brakes, brake lines, and fuel lines. The original color Ember Red paint was applied, all new date-coded glass installed, and the bumpers were rechromed by Paul’s Chrome. All the stainless is polished, and Evans waterless coolant and DOT5 brake fluid installed. The interior is immaculate, with white seating surfaces and red trim. A center console with floor shifter sits between the bucket seats. Everything is restored to stock configuration, even the factory markings. NOS wheels covers and new radial whitewall tires complete the look. It’s equipped with power steering and power brakes, and comes with restoration receipts and photos. In the trunk are shop manuals, extra floor mats, and a spare tire and jack. This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is ready to drive or show.
