Vehicle Description

‘69 Camaros are so well-loved in the car culture that they are practically becoming their own genre.  So if you’re building one, you better bring your A-game. This one does. The build is state-of-the-art all around.  The engine is a new 376 LS crate motor with only test miles since completion. Behind it is an American Powertrain Tremec 5-series 5-speed manual with a ceramic clutch.  The engine compartment looks professional with carbon fiber, billet, and polished pieces throughout including a Concept One front pulley system. Cooling is vital for a max-performance engine, and this one benefits from a Be Cool radiator with electric cooling fans.  A distinguishing trait of this car is that it is properly equipped to handle the horsepower. The frame and subframe have been replaced, powdercoated, and cross-braced to handle flexing under high torque loads. In back, it has a Detroit Speed rear end with 3.73 gears and a GM 12-bolt axle housing with billet Torino housing ends.  The upper and lower tubular swing arm front suspension has adjustable coilover shocks. The detailing is demonstrated by interior-matched carbon fiber covers. When you open the doors, you get an instant message that this car means business. Check out the bolstered buckets with RJS harnesses and the beautifully executed custom carbon fiber console.  The body work is outstanding too. The gunmetal gray paint is sprayed over new sheet metal. The quarter panels have been braced for anti-crumpling. And the rear spoiler is designed to provide max downforce with a minimum of drag. It’s smoothly integrated into the decklid and quarter panels for a seamless, distinctive look. As over-the-top as this Camaro looks and performs, it’s as well-behaved as your daily driver.  This one definitely deserves an “A”, as well as your consideration.
