Vehicle Description
C10’s are red hot. And this 1971 Destroyer Slammed Stepside takes the concept of a tuff truck and kicks it up a notch. An Allen Competition Engines .60 over 454 (yielding 468 cubes) generates a conservatively estimated 500 horsepower. Of course it’s cammed; with headers, intake and careful assembly. And it’s dressed to the nines with gobs of chrome and billet in the engine bay. The Turbo 400 automatic is often called upon when there are heavy torque loads to deal with, and so it is with this high-performance C10. The interior is a stellar standout with Resto Mod custom distressed leather. This stuff looks and feels fantastic! The rest of the cockpit keeps up with custom gauges and steering wheel seamlessly integrated with the stock interior. The slammed stance and raucous engine sound give the truck a commanding presence. But it’s as comfortable as a luxury cruiser, so you’ll want to put on some serious mileage.
