Vehicle Description

This two-owner 1986 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo Choo Custom is now available at MaxMotive. That it was owned by a mechanic since 1995 shows in the way the car runs and drives, as well as in some of the upgrades for driveability and performance. The 5.0L V8 was rebuilt in 2016 and features an aluminum intake under the Quadrajet carburetor. Tube headers empty into a complete dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Choo Choo Customs of Chattanooga TN provided some custom touches, and there’s an extra hood scoop included as well. This well-equipped Camino sports the SS fascia, air conditioning, power windows and locks, cruise, tilt, and the factory optional AM/FM stereo with cassette. The black exterior paint has a deep gloss and works well visually with the factory burgundy cloth interior. Another sharp upgrade is American Racing alloy wheels all around. A well-cared-for car, it comes with service receipts, and new motor mounts were installed in 2020. Also on board are the original Owner’s Manual and a Choo Choo Customs El Camino SS Vintage Video on VHS.
