Those of you with a “significant other” know that anniversaries are an important thing to remember. Well, they’re just as important in the car world, too! And one of our favorite engineers of powerfully engineered automobiles celebrated a big one. 25 years of turning good cars into great ones is quite a feat, and we were happy to offer this very special limited production Corvette in our Pittsburgh showroom. Limited to just 15 coupes and 11 convertibles, this model has become one of the most sought after Corvettes of all time.
This Callaway transformation began with the rock-solid Grand Sport platform that shared its extra-wide bodywork, flared fenders and brake cooling scoops with those of the high-performance Z06. The Grand Sport’s track-focused suspension and massive ventilated disc brakes were also a perfect fit for the Callaway formula. After delivery to Callaway, the Grand Sport’s 6.2L/436 HP LS3 engine received an intercooled TVS2300 Roots-type supercharger on a high-flow intake manifold, high-ratio rocker arms and upgraded valve springs and pushrods. A new high-flow fuel pump and injectors were also installed, along with Reeves Callaway autographed carbon fiber injector covers and distinctive Double-D-tipped stainless steel exhaust. The resulting 620 HP and 555 lb-ft of torque completely transformed the Grand Sport in both performance and demeanor. It was the most ever produced by any LS3-powered Callaway Corvette.
As the ultimate tribute, Chevrolet reinstated RPO (Regular Production Option) B2K, the same designation originally assigned to the 1987-1991 Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette option and the only Corvette RPO ever issued for a non-GM manufacturer.

It has a 3′ roof chop, shaved door handles, molded bumpers and many other custom touches. The truck rides on a Camaro subframe and custom Boyd Coddington wheels which gives it the perfect stance. It is powered by a Ford 351 V8 coupled with a Ford C6 transmission and Lincoln rear differential. All of this power is stopped by four wheel disc brakes, The bodywork and paint are phenomenal; the builder chose 1995 GM Raspberry metallic base/clear paint to set this truck apart from all others. MAXmotive is proud to present this highly original 1968 Shelby GT500-KR in our Pittsburgh showroom. The 1968 Shelby Cobra GT500KR was a mid-year introduction, based on the 1968 Shelby GT500. Ford added ‘Cobra’ to the Shelby’s moniker to help usher in the beginning of a new performance era at the company. The Cobra name referred to the new 428 Cobra Jet V-8 that was planted under the KR’s custom fiberglass hood. It was the engine that would once again vault the Mustang to the head of the pack. These R-code Mustangs featured front Super Cobra Jet Engines, disc brakes and that functional ram-air scoop. Shelby’s Mustang offered many improvements for a customer demanding a ‘King of the Road’ Cobra. A redesigned front end, hood and rear end, with 1967 Cougar tail lights. Interior appointments were very similar to the deluxe interiors delivered by Ford. Shelby only installed a functional roll bar and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. Ford conservatively rated the 428 CJ at 335-horsepower, but in reality it made more than 400-horsepower and 440 pounds-feet of torque. In 1968, Shelby produced a total of 4,450 automobiles. Shelbys used seven standard production colors, but a small number of 1968 Shelbys were also produced in very special colors. This particular Shelby is one of only 87 fastbacks produced in Yellow. The Wayfarer, aside from its shorter wheelbase, shared the boxy corporate design of the new 1949 Chrysler products. The Wayfarer arrived with three different body styles: a two-door sedan, a two-door business coupe, and the two-door roadster. A one-barrel, L-head inline-six of 230 cu in was installed, with 103 hp. This 327 powered 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. One of Chevy’s all time best, the 327 small block powers this iconic first year Camaro. This exquisite 2016 Rolls Royce Wraith is now available from the MaxMotive Flagship Pittsburgh Showroom. While the Rolls-Royce nameplate is typically associated with ultra-luxury sedans that are expressly tailored to the chauffeured owner’s exact specification, the automaker has a long history of building driver-centric two-door coupes as well. In 2016, Rolls-Royce had two of them in its portfolio: the Phantom Coupe and the Wraith. The Phantom Coupe is undeniably posh, but for the ultimate driver focused Rolls, the Wraith is what you want. Based on Rolls-Royce’s Ghost sedan, the Wraith is more powerful than the Phantom Coupe, as its turbocharged V12 makes 624 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, eclipsing the Phantom’s naturally aspirated V12 with 453 hp and 531 lb-ft. The Wraith also features an eight-speed automatic transmission that, unlike that in the Phantom, pulls in GPS data to take into account upcoming road conditions and select the optimal gear. Although the Wraith puts a premium on the driving experience, it is still a Rolls Royce, and that means all passengers will enjoy occupying one of the most finely detailed cabins in existence. Most surfaces are covered in natural-grain leather and eye-catching wood veneers. Because the Wraith is optimized for those in the front, they alone get to enjoy exclusive features like heated and ventilated massaging seats and are solely responsible for controlling the sublime 1,300-watt, 18-channel audio system comprising two highly powerful bass speakers, seven tweeters, and seven mid-range speakers to create what Rolls-Royce describes as an “unrivaled aural experience.” This Bespoke Audio system is the highlight of the Wraith “Inspired by Music.” Said to have been created from scratch by “the world’s very best automotive audio engineers”, it was developed over two years under the supervision of Rolls-Royce interior designers, who made sure it was “perfectly tuned to the interior” of the Wraith. This time around, Rolls-Royce went with Lyrical Copper, a dark, metallic copper finish blending “brushed and polished textures.” Rolls Royce created this special color to hint “at the use of copper in only the very best audio systems.” Besides the bespoke paint, the coupe also has a unique set of 21-inch, seven spoke wheels, finished in gloss-black and chrome. The massive chrome grille, the hood ornaments, the window trim, and the door handles add some additional contrast and provide a strong complement to the otherwise dark shade of the body. Opening the massive doors reveals custom sills with “Inspired By Music” lettering. The copper theme of the exterior continues inside the cabin, with copper-colored speakers, door inserts, dashboard and center console. Nearly everything else is finished in black, resulting in a two-tone interior. The door pockets and floor mats are made from finely-woven leather, while the instrument cluster features white gauges. The traditional clock on the dashboard is also unique to this model, sporting copper and silver details, as well as radial lines on the outer bezel that imitate the look and feel of vinyl records.
