Maxmotive is proud to offer this pristine 1992 Dodge Viper RT/10 in our Pittsburgh showroom. The Viper was initially conceived in late 1988 at Chrysler’s Advanced Design Studios by then president Bob Lutz and Caroll Shelby. The first prototype was tested in January, 1989 and became a reality when the first cars went on sale in January, 1992. The 1992 models are many times referred to as prototypes since only 285 examples were built. This particular car is #113 of the first 285 built and that is evidenced by the exterior radio antenna only found on early cars.. The interior is in perfect condition with no tears, rips or cracks and is accented with a black leather steering wheel and shift knob. Under the hood is the famous 8.0L V10 engine coupled with the six speed manual transmission which puts this car into a supercar category. The car is complete with all top and side curtain pieces neatly packed in individual pouches, custom fit car cover and Chrysler service manual which all fit nicely in the trunk compartment. Financing is available so do not let this one pass you by. See more photographs at Maxmotive.com
Here’s a hot rod that was done right, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Street with Big Block power and all the right equipment. The engine is a 1972 402 LS3 that has a .030 overbore for 408 cubic inches using 10.5:1 Speed Pro pistons. On top is a 750cfm Holley Dual Feed carb on a polished Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake feeding worked oval port open chamber heads (used on LS-6 motors). It produces an estimated 500 horsepower with big block torque. It’s backed by a race-prepped TH350 transmission with a 3000 stall converter controlled by a Hurst ratchet shifter. Out back is a narrowed Chevy 12-bolt Posi rear with 4:56 gears. Still plenty streetable with the giant inch diameter Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. They’re 19.5 inches wide too! In front are matching Mickeys in a 26×7.60-15LT size. They look menacing with the forged and polished Weld Racing Pro Star wheels. Coilover shocks and ladder bars control the rear end and look great in the process. You know the look. Tire – pumpkin – tire. The classic Pro Street look. This one’s a runner too. So it’s equipped with a full roll bar with swing bar. The paint is Plum Crazy with white SS stripes over the classic cowl hood. It has the factory Camaro spoilers fore and aft. Other nice touches include a chrome brake booster, chrome vacuum canister, and steel braided lines. A quality owner-built car completed in July 2023, this classic Pro Street 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is just right for cruising, showing, and even some dragstrip action. Please see the detailed photos and videos at www.maxmotive.com.
Now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom is #1333 of 5000 “Second Swarm” 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bees. With all the utility of a half-ton pickup, the Rumble Bee adds an extra layer of performance and personality. Yeah, it’s got a Hemi. The 5.7L Hemi V-8 dishes out 345 horsepower and 375 lb/ft of torque through a smooth 5-speed overdrive automatic transmission and a 3.92-geared rear axle. And the dual exhaust with chrome tips allow the Rumble Bee to live up to its name. The cabin features comfortable cloth seats along with air conditioning, power windows, doors, and locks, tilt, and cruise control. A Pioneer sound system has been added, plus a RuggedLiner bed liner and a Reese hitch. The paint is Solar Yellow with special Rumble Bee graphics, and yellow accent trim picks up the theme on the inside. The original chrome five-spoke wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires. Dodge gave us the Super Bee and the Lil Red Express (not to mention the Viper-powered SRT10), and this 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bee continues the tradition. It can be easy to forget that it’s a hardworking pickup too. Please see the detailed photos and videos at www.maxmotive.com.
The Maxmotive Pittsburgh showroom presents this 1955 Dodge Coronet Custom with a 331 Hemi beneath the bonnet. A complete frame-off restoration was performed and a Fat Man subframe with stainless upper and lower control arms installed. More modern upgrades include power rack and pinion steering and power front disc brakes so the driveability keeps up with the massive Hemi power. The body was stripped to bare metal and the time and effort was taken to get it just right before the application of mirror-like PPG basecoat/clearcoat black exterior paint. To further highlight the paint, the bumpers and all the trim were re-chromed. With the chrome Ridler wheels, the effect is striking. Air Ride Technologies suspension front and rear allows you to drop it low for shows. Those glorious valve covers with “Chrysler FirePower” stamped on them will quicken the pulse of any performance enthusiast or historian. And that’s before you fire it up. When you do, the big motor speaks with authority, just in case every head hasn’t turned when you arrived at the show. It’s fed through an Edelbrock carb on an aggressive Hot Heads aluminum intake. It looks great underneath the custom air cleaner. A complete MSD ignition system – including the distributor – gets everything started. In true hot rodding tradition, the transmission and rear end are the best from the “other” manufacturers. A Turbo 350 automatic and Ford 9-inch limited slip rear make up a worthy driveline team for the Hemi. Sabatini Coachworks in Nazareth PA (the home of Mario Andretti by the way) stitched up a phenomenal custom red Ultra-leather and suede interior with bucket seats. Prepare for war with the unique morningstar shifter. A modern but classic-style 3-spoke steering wheel feels and looks great. The modern/classic theme continues with the gauges, all of which are Auto Meter except for the original speedometer. You’ll also notice the tasteful hand-applied pinstriping by Coopstriping. This 1955 Dodge Coronet Custom is a complete, slammed in the dirt Hemi hot rod with a brand and period correct power plant, foot-deep black paint, plus modern driveability and sound system. And it’s available for you now at Maxmotive.
Here’s a nicely turned out 383-powered 1980 Plymouth Volare Coupe from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. The sheetmetal is original, not restored, and there are approximately 2000 miles on the build, which was completed in 2021. The 383 cubic inch engine was bored .030 over for about 388 cubic inches. It features an Edelbrock AVS2 carb on a Weiand aluminum intake. Exhaust exits through coated headers and a complete dual exhaust system with Cherry Bomb mufflers for just the right sound. The engine works great with the 727 Torqueflite automatic sending the power to a sturdy Dana 60 rear with 3.55 gears. The thoroughness of the build is further evidenced by nice touches such as an FBO rev limiter and a complete set of Mopar auxiliary gauges and a Mopar tachometer. It also has an aluminum Be Cool radiator. The car’s Frost Blue Metallic exterior paint is augmented with factory-style vinyl graphics. There are Road Runner spoilers front and rear. The interior is the original and very comfy light blue cloth. The all-important street fighter stance is achieved with staggered Fenton Super Shark mags on Mickey Thompson performance radials – 235/60R15 in front with beefier 275/60R15s in the back. This 1980 Plymouth Volare Coupe is a thoughtfully put together street machine that is tuned and ready to cruise, show, or to take to the drags. Please be sure to see the detailed photos and videos at www.maxmotive.com.
Here’s a hard-to-find 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Plum Crazy Edition available now in the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. It’s an outstanding example with one previous owner and just 9504 miles showing on the odometer. The Plum Crazy version was a late season addition to the lineup to commemorate the final model year for the 6.1L Hemi. The 6.1L is sought after because of the absence of MDS and its ability to withstand power adders such as supercharging without the need for internal modifications. This one, however, is completely original as it left the factory. It’s mated to the factory-installed Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. In addition to its substantial list of standard equipment such as air conditioning and Brembo 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, not to mention the 6.1L Hemi (which, at 425 horsepower, has the same power rating as the vaunted 426), this one sports every available factory option. At the time of its manufacture, the Plum Crazy SRT8 was the ultimate Challenger, so it was fully loaded with the SRT Kicker sound system with a 200 watt trunk mounted subwoofer and high performance speakers; a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, Satellite capability, and navigation; a power sunroof; and staggered Goodyear F1 Supercar 3-season ultra performance tires. Extra goodies include wheel lock nuts, Mopar bright door sill guards, and a custom-fitted Mopar car cover. The Plum Crazy exterior paint was late/limited availability in 2010 and only available in some model years since. This 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Plum Crazy has it all; one previous owner, low mileage, all original drivetrain and paint, and an outstanding AutoCheck report. Please be sure to see the detailed photos at www.maxmotive.com.
MaxMotive is pleased to offer this extremely clean and preserved 1984 Buick Grand National in our Pittsburgh Showroom. For 1984, the Grand National returned after a brief hiatus in 1983, now in all black paint. The turbocharged 3.8 L V6 became standard and was refined with sequential fuel injection, distributor-less computer-controlled ignition, and boasted 200 hp. Only 2,102 Grand Nationals were produced in 1984. Because this was the first year of production of the computer-controlled sequential fuel injection and distributor-less ignition, this is often considered the year and model that started the development of the legendary intercooled Grand Nationals. The performance of this package was well ahead of its time and the “little V6” easily kept up with the bigger V8s.
All Grand Nationals had the Lear Siegler-made cloth/leather interior which was only available for this year. This interior cabin is immaculate and looks brand new. The black paint shows perfectly and leaves no doubt that this is an all original one owner car. Please be sure to see the detailed photos at www.maxmotive.com.
MaxMotive is proud to present this outstanding, numbers-matching 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A fresh from the Maxwell Family Collection. The proprietary 340ci Six Pack V8 engine is indeed the one the car was born with. This particular example is one of only 922 equipped with the Hurst-shifted four-speed transmission. The entire drivetrain is original to the car. And it comes with abundant original documentation to verify its pedigree along with the correct fender tag and accompanying Trans-Am tag, and the mylar door-jamb label. Its history and mileage is documented with copies of previous Oklahoma, Canadian, and New Jersey titles. To keep the car in top shape the drivetrain has been rebuilt and the exterior was treated to one repaint in 1981. The Hemi Orange paint was an extra-cost option. Even over and above the legendary Dodge 340, the T/A 340 featured extra-wide main bearing webs and a modified hydraulic valvetrain with a special cam among other modifications. The special Rallye suspension used heavy-duty everything and increased the camber of the rear springs. The T/A package brought many other unique features. It was among the first production cars with staggered sized tires front and rear: E60x15s up front, G60x15s in back. This example sports the correct wheels and tires. The dual exhausts exited out the side in front of the rear tires, racing style. Indeed the mantra “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday” was important to the manufacturers in 1970. SCCA rules required Dodge to sell production editions of the track car, and Dodge responded with the Challenger T/A. The buyer benefits with a car with extra performance hardware. This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A has the pedigree and the equipment to make it a winner. Please be sure to see the detailed photos at Maxmotive.com.
We are proud to present this highly desirable 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle in our Maxmotive Pittsburgh Showroom. Desirable because of its big block V8 performance, Turbo 400 transmission, and 12-bolt rear axle, along with the fresh exterior paint and restoration.
The ultra-rare black vinyl interior features “Buick” bucket seats, the three-spoke steering wheel, and center console with floor shifter to check off even more wish-list items. The seats are NOT a mistake or incorrect replacement. Apparently, the Chevrolet division of General Motors encountered a strike in 1968 and were forced to install Buick seats into a small number of Chevelles until the dispute was over. Nonetheless, they look absolutely fabulous inside this Chevelle.
The familiar and well-loved look is complete with blackwall tires and painted steel wheels. A big block Chevelle is perhaps the ultimate example of a true American muscle car. This Ermine White 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is a superb example and it’s ready for you to enjoy. See detailed photos at www.maxmotive.com.
Here’s a handsome 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP 4D Sedan, now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. Its top-of-the-line 5.3L Displacement on Demand V8 engine delivers robust performance with 303 horsepower. Its sport sedan personality is exemplified with a Tap Shift manual mode transmission with paddle shifters. The GXP offers plenty of feature content for comfort as well. This example has a sunroof, leather interior, and a Monsoon sound system with 6-disc CD changer along with a generous helping of standard comfort amenities. Dark Cherry metallic paint combines with a unique rear spoiler to highlight the exterior. But the stars of the show have got to be the polished Alcoa forged aluminum wheels. They’re wrapped in General 255/45ZR18 ultra performance tires for a nice smooth ride, sporty handling, and a high performance look. This seldom seen 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP 4D Sedan can fill many roles as a personal car, family sedan, or classic cruiser. Please be sure to see the detailed photos at www.maxmotive.com.

Now in the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom is this very pretty, very well equipped 1966 Ford Mustang GT Hardtop. Under that familiar long hood is the very desirable 289ci 4-barrel V8 engine teamed with the tried and true C4 automatic transmission. The car has been thoroughly serviced including an engine and transmission tuneup, alignment, brake service, oil change and coolant check all in late 2022. The car was brought to Pittsburgh from North Carolina, and although it was a clean example, the previous owner had it disassembled and repainted, new front end components installed, and then put a complete Pony interior in himself. The engine was rebuilt with new valves and seats for unleaded fuel. All the major work was complete in 1996 and the car has been carefully preserved since as shown in a bundle of service receipts. It’s loaded with power steering, Styled Steel Wheels, center console, Deluxe Steering Wheel, white vinyl roof, and rally dash.
