1928 Ford A Phaeton – U0725
Vehicle Description
Here’s an neat all-steel 1928 Ford Model A Phaeton that’s ready to drive and enjoy now. Classic hot rod ingredients come together for a manageable, easy to maintain package. A 350 Chevrolet small block offers plenty of punch to keep you smiling. A Holley Double Pumper on a Weiand aluminum intake provides the fuel for spirited performance as well as a business like appearance. Finned aluminum valve covers accented in red pick up the pinstriping color. Shorty headers connect to a complete dual exhaust system that exits all the way out the back. Black is the original Model A color, and of course it is also found on the most exotic hot rods and customs today. It’s the perfect choice for this build. The wheels are steelies, painted in red and feature bright trim rings and Ford hubcaps. The tires are boldly staggered (195/55R15 front and 225/70R15 rear) for the all-important hot rod attitude. The top is beautiful black cloth craftsmanship that you can remove for open-air cruising. One advantage to the Phaeton is a roomy back seat. Four can ride in comfort in the gray cloth seats. The upholstery continues under the roof for a fully-finished look. The car is nicely equipped with a dash mounted tach, a full array of white face gauges, and a Pioneer stereo system. A billet steering wheel on a tilt column and a brushed aluminum column shifter round out the control package. In the front, an oil cooler and a hand-welded grille are among the owner-added touches in the true spirit of hot rodding. This is a fun street rod with the extra distinction of a Phaeton. A 1928 Ford Model A Phaeton. Available now at Maxmotive.
