It doesn’t get more classic in the classic car/hot rod world than a 1932 Ford Model A Roadster, and MaxMotive has a top tier example here for you. Completed in 2022 by the previous owner, this hot rod has seen just 1308 miles. The classicness continues with a 350ci small block Chevrolet V8 engine pumping out an estimated 450 horsepower through a Turbo 350 transmission to a 9-inch rear with 3.50 gears. On top are twin 500cfm Edelbrock carburetors The foundation is a body and chassis by the legendary Downs Manufacturing, with a straight axle front suspension, four-link rear suspension, and 4-wheel disc brakes. The body sports a hand-crafted all-aluminum hood with louvers. Harley Davidson Typhoon Maroon makes a nice contrast to the beige vinyl interior. Here you’ll find a Stewart-Warner tach and gauges and a quick release steering wheel for easy entry and exit. A new aftermarket wiring harness handles all the electricals and there’s a 15 gallon aluminum fuel tank with an electric fuel pump. Details such as stainless headers and exhaust and a fully upholstered trunk are further hints to the quality of the build, riding on staggered Coker wide whites on chrome 5-spoke Supreme Wheels. Honoring time-honored hot rod heritage with modern technology in the mix, this 1932 Ford Model A Roadster was recently completed and is ready to show and go. Please see the photos, videos, and details at maxmotive.com.
*MAXmotive specializes in collectible classic and custom vehicles. We have more than 200 vehicles in our collection and have sold dozens nationwide and even overseas. We recommend that all buyers who are unable to view a vehicle in person have a pre-purchase inspection done prior to purchase. Inspections can be performed by an independent party selected by the buyer. Due to the age and uniqueness of these special vehicles, it is difficult to cover all aspects and characteristics of each vehicle’s condition within the limited space available. Thus, pre-purchase inspections are helpful to all parties involved. The information provided for this vehicle is presented to the best of our knowledge, and is deemed reliable. But MAXmotive does not warrant or guarantee this information as a basis for purchase. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make a thorough inspection to determine the suitability of the vehicle prior to purchase.
