Maxmotive is proud to offer this 1946 Chevy 3100 two wheel drive truck for sale. This truck was freshly built from our heroic boys and girls returning home from World War II. What an incredible piece of machinery, when stuff was built to last! This 3100 series came off the assembly line with a few nice options that were available to upgrade your truck in 1946. This truck has the 4 speed manual transmission and electric front windshield wipers as options. The 216 CI inline 6 cylinder is equipped with an aftermarket Offenhauser intake manifold, with a pair of single carburetors. The engine is nicely dressed and finished in orange paint with the period correct Thrift master insignia on the valve cover. Underneath the truck there is a beautifully designed custom fabricated, tig welded stainless 304 exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler. The patina on the truck is wonderfully offset by the period correct vinyl seat and headliner. The dressed to impress engine bay is a beautiful site when the dual butterfly hoods are opened to expose the engine bay. This pretty truck is also a driver, and ready to be driven. The truck is ready for car cruises, a day on the job site, or weekend cruises with the misses. Please look for more photos and information on our website www.maxmotive.com
