Now at the Maxmotive Pittsburgh Showroom, a very attractive LS-powered 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Deluxe Pickup. Completed in 2019, and with just 2000 miles on the build, it rides on an S10 frame with a static drop suspension for just the right feel and ride height. The fuel injected 5.3L LS V8 engine is smooth, reliable, and provides plenty of power. The transmission is a 4L60 automatic that allows spirited acceleration as well as leisurely highway cruising. A black leather bench seat highlights the interior, which also features black Dolphin gauges. The perfect paint turned out to be Ford Red Candy Clearcoat Metallic, and it looks great on the wheels too. With chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and Coker Classic white sidewall radials, the look is pure vintage. Four-wheel power disc brakes, however, are pure modern, along with the air conditioning system, power steering with tilt column, and Autosound audio. More fine features include a chrome grille and bumpers, wood bed floor, polished steering wheel, and shorty headers with dual exhaust. A great show & go truck, this 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Deluxe combines vintage vibe with modern muscle. See detailed photos at www.maxmotive.com.
