1956 Chevrolet Corvette 2/3 Scale Replica

Kids of all ages love Corvettes.  There are Corvette models, pedal toys, die-cast collectibles, and the list goes on. Bigger kids have all kinds of real Vettes, many in impressive numbers. So there’s no doubt that kids from one to 92 will go crazy over this truly amazing 1956 Corvette replica.  The real delight comes from the fact that it’s actually a car, and the detail is fabulous. Scaled down to about ⅔ the size of the revered 1956 Corvette, it has a real gas engine, 3-speed transmission, plus working lights, doors, and deck lid. You can’t help but smile at the accurate reproduction of the Corvette steering wheel, dash, and gauges.  (The “odometer” shows 1 mile which, at least for now, is accurate. The little car is new!) You open the door with a door handle much like that of a full-size ‘Vette, and you’ll see some really nice red bucket seats. Okay, maybe Ben Roethlisberger isn’t gonna fit, but there’s plenty of legroom for most adults, and just like its full-size brethren, the car seats two.  The floor shifter actually operates the three-speed transmission (plus reverse) and there’s a neat LED shift indicator. The power plant is a quite-sophisticated 107cc (not cubic inches, cc’s) 4-cycle gasoline engine that pumps out a plenty-of-fun 7 horsepower. The lights – including turn signals and brake lights – are fully functional. You certainly don’t need a child’s imagination to come up with dozens of ways to have a blast with this little Vette.  Add it to your full-size collection, cruise the car shows, display it in your garage or man-cave, or use it instead of a golf-cart at the race track. The realism, functionality, and quality are quite astounding and, shall we say, adult. But the greatest thing is, this mini-Vette will never grow up.
