1957 Ford Thunderbird – V0780
Vehicle Description
It was the last year for the legendary 2-seat Thunderbirds. 1957 was an exciting year for Ford and the Thunderbird was a big part of it. This one was treated to a thorough restoration completed in 2016 and has only been driven 403 miles since. It features the optional 312 cubic inch V8 with a four barrel on top. A major highlight is a set of finned aluminum T-bird valve covers. They’re complimented by a chrome air cleaner with a baffle. With the hood scoop, it forms one of the first factory ram air systems. The 312 teams up with the Ford-O-Matic transmission for effortless cruising, along with power steering and power brakes. The car is striking with its Flame Red paint and contrasting white porthole removable hardtop. Fender skirts, white walls, and the correct wheel covers are pure Thunderbird. Inside is a beautiful black and white interior with a full gauge package including the factory tachometer. An AM/FM Cassette radio is neatly installed in the dash. Another strength of this Tbird is the trunk. First of all, it’s big, and it’s clean. It contains a new spare radial tire plus the factory jack. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird offers a unique combination of personal luxury and sportiness in an iconic classic automobile.
