Only about 1400 ‘58 Cameos were built, so few exist today, especially ones this beautiful, and this example has the desirable big curved glass back window. Another of the best things to come from Chevrolet in the ‘50’s was the 283 small block V8. This truck has it. It’s known for performance that belies its displacement, and this one sounds fabulous. With the “three-on-the-tree” shifter, the vintage driving experience is delightfully intact. The interior presents as new, and the gray/taupe color treatment would be right at home in a modern truck. Apparently, the designers and stylists were indeed ahead of their time, which is what they were shooting for. Yet the classic appeal is here as well, with a beautiful wood bed floor with polished strips, chrome bumpers, chrome grille, and an excellent set of chrome hub caps and trim rings. Turquoise and black exterior paint combine with all the exclusive Cameo trim and quad headlights for a truly deluxe package.
