This one is for the collector who already has the ordinary stuff.
Beginning life as a 1963 Chevrolet Nova, this vehicle has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind El Caminostyle pickup, utilizing a Chevrolet LUV pickup rear bed seamlessly integrated into the Nova body. The result is a compact, aggressive custom with a factory-inspired looksomething Chevrolet never built, but enthusiasts have always imagined.
Power comes from a Chevrolet 350ci V8 equipped with a mild camshaft, topped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, Edelbrock air cleaner, and Edelbrock valve covers for proven performance and a clean engine bay presentation. A FiTech EFI system delivers modern reliability and drivability, supported by an electric cooling fan to help maintain consistent operating temperatures. Electric exhaust cut-outs allow instant control over sound and attitude.
Braking is upgraded with front disc brakes featuring cross-drilled and slotted rotors, paired with rear drum brakes and a new brake booster with Kegs vacuum reserve canister, providing improved pedal feel and confident stopping performance. Steering remains manual, and the car is not equipped with air conditioning, staying true to its lightweight, driver-focused hot-rod character.
The pickup bed is finished with a spray-in bedliner for durability and usability, accented by chrome bed rails, a duck billstyle rear spoiler, and a sliding rear window. Bright chrome front and rear bumpers and polished exterior trim complete the classic exterior presentation.
Inside, low-back bucket seats, a 196667 Nova SS center console, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a RetroSound radio blend vintage appearance with modern convenience. Bosch auxiliary gaugesincluding water temperature, battery voltage, and oil pressureprovide essential engine data at a glance. The car rides on REV wheels wrapped in Cooper CS5 Grand Touring tires, featuring a slightly staggered stance that enhances both appearance and road presence.
This is not a clone, tribute, or kitits a true custom build designed for enthusiasts who appreciate originality, mechanical connection, and standout presence. A guaranteed conversation starter wherever it goes.
