From the beloved 289 cubic inch V8 and floor-shifted Cruise-O-Matic transmission, to the Pony Interior and Rally Dash, it all adds up to one very desirable pony. The handsome wood rimmed 3-spoke steering wheel is here too. Some updates include Sunpro gauges with LED graphics and a Clarion stereo with cassette and Sony speakers.
The car comes with the very helpful original 1965 Registered Owner’s Manual, and a Mustang Illustration Catalog. This amazing book features exploded drawings of all the car’s systems and includes all Mustangs from 1965 through 1973. A Restoration Handbook is included as well. A full set of five of the familiar Mustang wheel covers are on board, and it sports a full set of Cooper radials plus a spare. Ford set the automotive world ablaze with the introduction of the Mustang at the New York World’s Fair in 1964. As a special tribute, this Mustang displays an actual 1964 New York State license plate with the slogan “New York World’s Fair” commemorating one of Ford’s all-time great new cars.
