1977 Buick Electra Limited

This is one of those classic luxury cars that was originally purchased as a special car, and treated that way its whole life. Now on just its second meticulous owner, and with only 33115 careful miles travelled, we present this immaculate 1977 Buick Electra Limited. It’s not only a time capsule, but the original buyer equipped the car with a keen eye on the future. Items that are standard on many of today’s cars were optional in 1977, but this car has them. Features such as air conditioning that are now considered a necessity especially on a luxury car had to be ordered as an option in 1977 even on the big Buick Electra. Even so, this one is well-equipped even by today’s standards. First, of course, is the torquey 403 cubic inch 4-barrel engine, a bold move in the fuel-conscious seventies. Other extras are cruise control, 6-way power seat, power locks, (power windows were standard), tinted glass, power trunk release, courtesy lights and vanity mirror, front and rear bumper guards and the upgraded AM/FM stereo with front and rear dual speakers. Was she babied? The car is said to have been stored in a climate controlled environment for the past 30 years. It was never smoked in, driven in snow, or stored outdoors. It has been thoroughly serviced with new brakes, exhaust, water pump, radiator, heater core, plus hoses and belts. The gleaming black finish is new Standox 2-part clearcoat paint. The paint is strikingly set off by the original red velour interior. It is as beautiful as it is comfortable with the ornate wood trim and brightwork that were Buick hallmarks, along with that gorgeous timepiece on the dash.
