Only 4 colors were available for the 1999-2001 Cobra and only 223 were built with the Electric Green and Parchment interior combination. Over the years the Special Vehicles Team partnered with Mustang making improvements such as an advanced braking system and a high revving-double overhead cam. In 1999 the metamorphosis was complete, with the added independent rear suspension, traction control and improved front suspension gave the SVT Cobra what it needed to be placed among the world’s greatest driver’s cars. The 4.6 liter 32V V8 produces a whopping 320 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, and 317 lb/ft of torque at 4,750 rpm, giving a 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds and a 13.8 second quarter mile.
