2019 Porsche 911 GT3

At first glance the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is clearly inspired by the traditional silhouette, and heritage, that has made the 911 a staple with enthusiasts since 1964. As of writing this only 10 production cars have been able to tackle the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring in less than 7.00 minutes. Porsche has 6 cars on that short list and the 991.2 GT3 RS is one of them. The 991.2 GT3 RS was able to impress with not only a 6:56.4 lap time, But 3 other consecutive runs under that coveted 7:00 minute mark. 24 seconds faster than the previous generation GT3 RS, while having only a 25hp bump is a true testament to the remarkable engineering accomplished by the think tank in Weissach. Powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-6 that generates a peak 520 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque with a 9000 rpm redline allows for a 193MPH top speed. Power is sent to the rear wheels via the infamous 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission Porsche has carefully honed to perfection.
