Vehicle Description
This classic Camaro has its original, matching numbers 396, 325 horse big block. The entire car was treated to a thorough ground-up restoration. Recently rebuilt by Snyder’s machine shop, the motor was professionally installed at Mack’s Garage. They installed the correct carb, intake, and exhaust manifolds. A rugged Turbo 400 automatic sends the horses to a 12-bolt rear axle the way it was meant to be. Black SS stripes around the nose highlight the 396 callouts and provide that just-right classic look with the red exterior paint. Another important code is trim code 714 for the custom black bucket seats. In between is a factory center console that shows off the correct “basket handle” shifter. A classic Sun Super Tach counts the revs accompanied by Auto Meter gauges. An AM/FM stereo with cassette has been added as well. The cowl induction scoop gives off the perfect performance Chevy vibe. Polished American Torq Thrust wheels and traction bars are the kinds of upgrades that were must-haves for the well-equipped street machine back in the day. Believed to be 133196 total miles, work receipts and title history are included. A red 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS 396 represents a desirable, collectible classic. This one is completely ready to roll, and it’s available now at Maxmotive
