In combination with the white and black interior, this Challenger has an air of sophistication and splendor that elevates it above the norm. Then, of course, there’s the hardware.  This is a genuine R-code Hemi Challenger R/T. As noted above, it’s one of only 14 that were built with the Shaker Hood. By now, you know the story on factory horsepower ratings during the muscle car era. The bottom line is the superior performance of the Hemi got it legislated out of NASCAR and NHRA Pro Stock.  Let’s just say it put out a little more than the rated 425 horsepower.
