1972 Triumph TR6 Roadster

For the sports car enthusiast in all of us, Maxmotive is pleased to present this newly restored 1972 Triumph TR6 in our Flagship Pittsburgh Showroom. The thorough restoration was just completed in 2020, and the car has been driven just 300 miles since. Both hard and soft tops come with it. The 2.5L inline 6 and the original 4-speed manual transmission have both been rebuilt. To enhance driveability, the engine sports dual Hitachi Carburetors, an electronic distributor, an electric fuel pump with regulator, and headers with a Monza dual exhaust system. An aluminum radiator with assistance from an electric fan keeps things cool. The striking color combination is Sapphire exterior paint (a rich, deep metallic blue) with a Matador Red bucket seat interior. Of course, a great highlight of the cockpit is the rich wood grain dash with the customary full complement of analog gauges that beautifully accentuates the upholstery. The electronic tach is dependable and accurate. The same can be said for the Quick Turn steering. Matching front and rear sway bars help keep the car planted. Along with the car comes such valuable extra items as the original distributor, the original fan setup, the original rack & pinion steering system, a mechanical fuel pump, a new oil pump, a complete engine gasket set, and a helpful service manual.
