This 1973 Mach 1 sports the Q-code 351 Cleveland engine, one of Ford’s best ever. It is also very well equipped otherwise, as shown in the original factory invoice. Options include the automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, electric rear window defroster, AM/FM stereo radio, sport deck rear seat, rear bumper guards, and the forged aluminum wheels. It also has the Mach 1 Sports Interior Option. This option includes: Deluxe instrument panel featuring black appliques with woodtone applique on the center console; oil, amp, and temp gauges in the center console and a tach in the left instrument cluster pod; woodgrain applique and carpeting on the inner door panels, knitted vinyl high-back bucket seats with vertical accent stripes and the Mustang logo in the headrests. There have also been significant upgrades to the engine and throughout the car. An Edelbrock Performer intake and Carter AFB carb inhales through a correct Mach 1 Ram Air system. The motor exhales through a complete performance exhaust system with headers and Flowmaster mufflers. These mods are good for the 351 Cleveland with its big valves. This Mach 1 is not only well-equipped, it is exceptionally well documented. It comes with the original dealer invoice showing all the options and codes, plus the Marti Report.
